At today's meeting Jill Parkinson reviewed some of the effects that yesterday's budget will have, including changes to pension provision and an increase in the yearly ISA allowance. Sam Notley reminded us of the Recessions are for Winners event - Hosted by Central Appointments at the UniLit.
Alyson Matthews of Severn Surveyors
gave an interesting presentation outlining the process of surveying properties to produce energy certificates. Severn Surveyors produce reports including Commercial Energy Performance Certificates, Display Energy Certificates (DEC), Home Information Packs (HIPs), Home Buyers’ Surveys (Home Condition Surveys) and Domestic Energy Certificates (EPC)
It also emerged that Tony Randall of Randalls Office Furniture has provided an innovative confectionery storage and security system for Ian Smith (who is rather partial to Cream Eggs).
